Greatest Achievement
Megan
and Aaron's greatest achievements have been our nine medals at the
Canadian Championships, our 2 grand prix medals.
Both
of our personal achievements have been earning our undergraduate degrees
from the University of Windsor
Megan with BA Honors in Psychology
Aaron with BHK-Bachelors in Human Kinetics
Aaron: I
hope to one day work with children involved with The Special Olympics
and perhaps also help the discipline of Ice Dancing in Vancouver
by putting together an Ice Dance school run by myself and other
professional coaches with the same vision. Megan would be one of
these professionals and it would be great if she would use her
skills from her Psychology background to help the skaters so when
skaters come to us they will have everything at their disposal.
A sort of "one stop shopping" training environment. From choreography
to ballet to off-ice lessons and counseling.
Megan: I
too want to develop a competitive ice-dance center in Vancouver.
My desire would be to start kids off at an early age with the proper
training tools, both mentally and physically. Western Canada has
been a little behind in the ice-dance field as of late, but I would
like to use my competitive experience and knowledge, along with my
schooling background to change this. I would also like to try my
hand at the choreography aspect of skating.
