We just came back from our first two competitions of the season. The first was Golden Spin of Zagreb in Croatia which we won with 12 points more then the Ukrainian team who were second.

After Zagreb we went to Russia to take part in the Cup of Russia Grand Prix event. Unfortunately that competition did not go as smooth as the previous one. We skated a very good golden waltz and were 5 after. But on OD we made a very bad mistake and ended up in 7th place. Our Free Dance we skated very well but overall our placement after OD did not change. So we ended up been 7th.

After Cup of Russia we had to stay in Moscow for two extra weeks. We had to make new costumes and some changes in our OD. We stayed at Novogorsk (training camp outside of Moscow) where we worked with our coach Nikolai
Morozov.

Igor and I have just made the semi-permanant move from New Jersey to Connecticut. We will be training during the week in Connecticut and returning to New Jersey on the weekends. Igor and I are both in school right now. Igor is persuing a Real estate liscense and I am still working toward my Bachelors in Business. We are planning on returning to Azerbaijan for the Grand opening of a new sports facility in the end of September. We hope everyone is having a good summer.
