Hello
everyone,
On
Tuesday I had surgery on my knee. Things are slowly getting better
and I have just started walking again today. Bryce & I have
withdrawn from the Campbell's Cup and Skate America. On Wednesday
I will return to Toronto to see how long I will be off the ice.
At that time we will know if we can compete at Skate Canada. Right
now my goal is to be healthy for Nationals.
We
will keep you posted. Thanks for all your support.

Dear
Fans,
This
summer has flown bye very quickly. It’s hard to believe
there are less than 150 days until Nationals and just a couple
weeks away from our Grand Prix events. Earlier this summer we
had a chance to work with Jamie Sale & David Pelletier. This
was a great experience for us and we gained valuable knowledge
from these two great skaters.
Last
week we competed at our first competition for the season. We wanted
to get our programs out there to show them off. In our short program,
just a few elements into it, I, (Jessica) fell out of a lift.
I was taken to hospital after to make sure I was okay. Bryce &
I have heard there has been a lot of concern from our fans as
there are many versions of the story floating around. I am back
on the ice right now, however I am unable to jump for two about
weeks. I have an old fracture in my back so I have to be careful
not to fall on it and injure it further. From the fall I aggravated
my back and tightened it up. If I take care of it, it should be
okay. I’m feeling way better, just a little sore at times.
Bryce & I look forward to the National Team camp in a few
weeks and of course our two upcoming Grand Prix events: Skate
America & Skate Canada.
Thank-you
for all your support and encouragement you have given us. We really
appreciate it.
Have
a great rest of the summer.
