Asking Personal Information: Do not ask personal
information to the chat guest. This includes religious beliefs,
sexuality, personal contact information, dating info, etc.

Private Messaging (PM/IM): Do not send private messages
to the chat guest or to other chatters during a chat night
session. If you send private messages to the chat guest you
will be removed from the chat room.

Flooding: Do not rapidly enter text/or images that
tend to occupy multiple lines of the message screen. Please
ask questions one at a time to allow the chat guest time
to answer the question. The chatter knows everyone says "Hi" so
you don't have to type "hi!" when the chatter logs
in.

Flaming: Do not engage
or participate in any activities directly or indirectly
which harass, threaten, abuse or intimidate other users.
In other words, don't be mean to others. Always treat others
as you would want them to treat you.

Shouting: Do not use all capital letters when
posting messages. The use of all capital letters when posting
a message is considered shouting and very poor manners.
Here is an example of shouting: THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF SHOUTING
IN A CHAT ROOM.

Offensive Language: Do not post, or attempt to post
by disguise (represent swear words with symbols or numbers),
any words which are "foul",
"obscene", or "cuss" words. Additionally,
explicitly violent talk, fights, racist language, or other abusive
language is not allowed.
Have
Fun: Just have a great time chatting and if you
follow the rules the chat will go smoothly and you'll be
able to join us for future guest chats.
