  • Savchenko/Szolkowy (GER) won their 8th consecutive World Championship medal.
  • Javier Hernandez (ESP) is the 1st Spanish figure skater to medal at an ISU Championship.
  • Nelli Zhiganshin (GER) & Rusian Zhiganshin (RUS) are sister and brother.
  • Savchenko/Szolkowy (GER) end partnership.  Szolkowy retires-Savchenko to partner with Bruno Massot (FRA).
  • Fabian Bourzat to assist/coach with Igor Shpilband in Canton, Michigan
  • 2015 World Championships-Shanghai, China (March 28 – April 3, 2015)
  • 2016 World Championships-Boston, MA, USA (March 23 – March 29, 2016)

Based on the 2014 Worlds Championship results, each ISU member nation gets one-three entries per discipline for the 2015 World Championships.
