Asada announces new coach

Two-time world champion Mao Asada has announced Nobuo Sato will be her new coach. Sato currently coaches Takahiko Kozuka and previously worked with Miki Ando, Fumie Suguri and his daughter Yuka Sato.

Sato is no stranger to the skating world.  He is a ten-time Japanese national champion.  He represented Japan at the 1960 Winter Olympics, where he placed 14th, as well as at the 1964 Winter Olympics, where he placed 8th.In January 2010, he was nominated to the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.

Asada parted ways with Tatiana Tarasova following the World Championships in March.
