Silver’s Bullets to participate in 2010 Pride and Remembrance Run

The Silver’s Bullets team is back and ready to lace up their running shoes for the 2010 Pride and Remembrance Run on July 3rd. The 5k run supports local LGBT charities and is the largest race of its kind in Canada. Silver’s Bullets, lead by Brian Orser, is named in memory of Canadian ice dance icon Robert McCall and will honor a number of skaters who died from AIDS.

This year Orser’s team has close to 40 participants including a number of present and past skaters and members of the skating community.

Consider supporting your favorite skater or coach by making a pledge for this amazing cause. Below are links to a couple of pledge pages of whom may be of interest.

Over the past few years Silver’s Bullets have raised over $50,000 for charities.

About Us

Skate Today was created in November 2004 to showcase the people of the skating world, skaters and coaches and others, who make figure skating and ice dancing a pleasure to watch for fans from around the world. The goal was to create a site that would give viewers an insight into the personalities of the people involved in this sport and to give you a more personal connection when watching them live at an event or on the television. Our staff knows how much time and dedication is put into this sport and that's why Skate Today was created.
