Zaretsky’s announce retirement

Israeli Ice dancers Alexandra and Roman Zaretsky have announced their retirement from ice dancing.  The brother and sister team placed 10th at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and 6th at the 2010 World Championships in Torino.

According to a release the duo will further their skating careers as coaches. Zaretysky’s father said it was impossible for the team to continue without the support from the Federation.

Galit Chait, the 2002 World bronze medalist with Sergei Sakhnovski, coached the team.

We will miss Alexandra & Roman and wish them all the best with their coaching careers.
