Kingston to host 2010 Skate Canada International

Skate Canada announced today that Kingston, Ontario will be the host city for the 2010 Skate Canada International. The event will be held from October 28-31, 2010 at the K-Rock Centre.

“Skate Canada is pleased to bring a skating event of this level to the City of Kingston,” said William Thompson, Skate Canada CEO. “We are looking forward to calling Kingston home for a week in October and of course are anticipating another memorable event with some of the world’s best skaters.”

Skate Canada International is the second competition in the annual ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series. Competitors for the Skate Canada International, and all of the ISU Grand Prix events, will be announced following the ISU Grand Prix Commission meetings in June.

All-event ticket packages go on-sale May 7, 2010 at 10:00 (ET). All-event tickets are $155 plus applicable surcharges (taxes included). Tickets can be purchased online at, by phone at 1.877.KLIVE99 (1.877.554.8399), or in person at The K-Rock Centre Box Office.
